Reception
All children are admitted to a Reception class during the first half of the Autumn Term (September) of the academic year in which they attain their fifth birthday.
60 places are available for Reception children at the school.
There are opportunities for children and parents to visit our school. We normally offer tours on Tuesday mornings but please contact the office who will be happy to make an appointment for you to have a look around and get a feeling for the school.

How to Apply for a Reception Place
Please note, attending our nursery does not guarantee a place in Reception. School places are managed by Admissions at North Tyneside Council. Parents must make an application for a Reception class place.
Parents can apply online here. Information leaflets and FAQs can also be found here.
What happens when?
September: Application system opens
January: Application system closes
April: Parents are notified as to which school their child has been offered
How are places offered?
Many schools have more applications than places available. When schools are oversubscribed, a set of admission criteria is used by the admission authority to decide which children should be offered places. Priority goes to those children living within the catchment area of the school and a sibling link. Parents can check catchment areas here.
